Wednesday, 22 July 2009More than 12 thousand Kyrgyz voters will take part in the presidential elections of Kyrgyzstan in Kazakhstan. The Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Kazakhstan, Zhanysh Rustenbekov, informed at the press conference on Tuesday, "Kazakhstan Today" agency reports.
"So many Kyrgyzstan citizens wish to participate in the election campaign. 12.5 thousand voters will take part in the elections in Kazakhstan. About 850 people voted in the last elections in Astana. Now, about 4 thousand people will take part in the elections," Z. Rustenbekov informed.
He also informed that three polling districts will be opened in the territory of Kazakhstan: one in Astana and two in Almaty. "One of the polling districts in Almaty will be in the building of Consulate General of Kyrgyzstan and another - in the market Barys.
116 international observers from 48 countries of the world will observe the presidential election in Kyrgyzstan. "8 people from Kazakhstan will observe the elections," the Ambassador informed
