Wednesday, 22 July 2009The citizens of Kazakhstan, Alibek Taylakov and Alexander Kustovsky, arrested in the USA, being suspected of money counterfeit, have been released on $540 bail for each, the relatives of the arrested persons informed "Kazakhstan Today" agency.
They informed that the first sitting of the court will take place in the District Court in Orleans on July 13. The next sitting was supposed to be on July 21, but has been postponed for July 23.
As informed earlier, 19-year-old Alibek Taylakov and 21-year-old Alexander Kustovsky printed counterfeit dollars. They were detained by the police of the city Chatham, Massachusetts State.
According to the American mass media, young men were arrested in the rented apartment. During the search, the police found two computers, a printer, some flesh-cards and more than 700 false banknotes in twenty - and one hundred denominations.
According to the American laws, the young people may be imprisoned for manufacture and sale of counterfeit money for up to 15 years," television channel informed.
The Press Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Ilyas Omarov, explained that A. Kustovsky and A. Taylakov will not be extradited. They will serve their sentence in an American prison if they are pronounced guilty.
