The Collective Rapid Response Forces (CRRF) base of the Collective Security Treaty Organization has been defined to be located in the territory of Kyrgyzstan, "Kazakhstan Today" agency reports citing a source in the Ministry of Defense of Kyrgyzstan.

"According to the preliminary data, the place of disposition of the military forces will be in the city Osh. However, other territories in the south of Kyrgyzstan have been also considered," the source informed.

As informed earlier, the leaders of CSTO member states made a decision on CRRF creation in Moscow on February 4, 2009. RRF will be used to repulse military aggression and carrying out of special operations to struggle against international terrorism and extremism, transnational organized crime, drug traffic and liquidation of consequences of emergencies.
