Turkey and Iran Sign Border Trade Protocol

Turkey and Iran signed border trade protocol in the eastern province of Van on Saturday.
Turkish Foreign Trade Deputy Undersecretary Sevket Ilgac said that Kapikoy border gate would be opened to transit commerce procedures at latest November, 2009 under the protocol.
Ilgac said that the protocol was a road map to preferential trade system.
Meanwhile, seven Turkish and seven Iranian companies signed commerce agreements on iron, cement and furniture sectors.
