Turkey Ranks Fourth in Mediterranean Games With 20 Gold Medals

Turkey ranked the fourth at the end of the ninth day in 2009 Mediterranean Games in Pescara, Italy after Turkish athletes won a total of 20 gold, 19 silver and 24 bronze medals.
Turkish athletes have no other chance to win more medals in the last day of the games on Sunday. So, Turkey completed the games with 63 medals.
Host country Italy topped the country ranking with 63 gold medals. France followed Italy with 46 golds and Spain ranked the third with 27 gold medals.
