Saturday, 4 July 2009Turkey's Ozyegin University was ranked among top 100 business schools in the world, the university said on Saturday.
The university was one of the top 100 business schools for the number of its articles published this year in four globally leading marketing periodicals the Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Research and Marketing Science.
Ozyegin University was above world-famous schools such as Cambridge, Cornell, Michigan State and London Business School, it said.
University rector Professor Erhan Erkut said that the university aimed to be listed in top 200 universities of the world in five years.
"Success achieved by our marketing group encouraged us and also showed us that this goal could be achieved," Erkut said.
Business schools of universities Chicago, Pennsylvania and New York were on the top of the list.
Ozyegin University was founded officially in 2007 and welcomed its first students in September 2008 on its Altunizade Campus, Istanbul. |
