Fans wishing to attend singer Michael Jackson's memorial service next week will have to register for free tickets - 11,000 of which will be given out, organizers said Thursday, CNN reported.

Details on how to register for tickets for the service at the 20,000-seat Staples Center in Los Angeles, California, Tuesday will be announced at a press briefing Friday.
