Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan signed plan of cooperation in youth policy in Baku on July 1. Plan of cooperation over 2009-2010 was signed between Azerbaijani minister of youth and sport Azad Rahimov and head of public movement of Uzbek youth Kamolot Akrom Alimov.
Plan of cooperation is new stage in relations between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, Rahimov said. "Document demonstrates that cooperation in youth policy between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan develops in correct direction," minister said.
Plan of cooperation will strengthen relations in youth policy with Azerbaijan, Alimov said.
The agreement in youth policy was signed between governments of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan in 1997. According to the document, Azerbaijani and Uzbek youth participates in joint projects.
