Turkey's National Air Carrier to Launch Flights to Jakarta

Turkey's state-run national air carrier, the Turkish Airlines, is set to begin flights to the Indonesian capital of Jakarta as of July 20, the carrier said in a statement on Tuesday.
The Turkish air carrier will fly five times a week except for Wednesdays and Saturdays from Istanbul to Jakarta with a stop in Singapore, the statement said.
The Turkish Airlines posted a net profit of 1,134 million Turkish liras in 2008 (1 USD = 1.5320 TL) as the number of its passengers increased 15 percent to 22.5 million.
