Georgian Ex-speaker Suits Country's Supreme Legislative Body

Georgia, Tbilisi, June 29 /Trend News, N.Kirtzkhalia/

Ex-speaker and current leader of the Democratic Movement - Unified Georgia Nino Burjanadze suits the Georgian parliament. In the suit, Burjanadze protests against the president's decree on reducing her private guards and escort.

Hearings on this suit will begin at the Tbilisi City Court on July 2. A preparation process will begin on this case on June 29.

Commenting on this fact, members of the parliamentary committee on juridical affairs from majority stated that Burjanadze thinks only of her own benefit and comfort.

Earlier, Burjanadze suited President Mikheil Saakashvili, as well. At that time, she accused the president of groundless evidences on her financing by Russia.
