Wednesday, 24 June 2009Chemical analysis of samples from some 300 liters of liquid, which was earlier intercepted by Turkish custom guards at a border pass in eastern Turkey, showed that the liquid was heroin.
Custom guards at the Gurbulak Border Gate with Iran seized on June 12 the liquid heroine, which is very rare, is the largest amount of heroine in liquid form that had ever been impounded in the world, Turkish security officials said.
Liquid heroin is a watered down version of heroin and experts say it can be much more fatal than other illegal drugs. It is used by injecting in fruits or by mixing with drinks. |
