Turkish Minister Not Attending Economist Meeting |

Tuesday, 23 June 2009Turkish State Minister Ali Babacan could not participate in a meeting of Economist in Istanbul on Tuesday.
Babacan could not attend a session on "government priorities in the light of global economic crisis" due to his busy schedule.
The Economist Business Round-Table With the Government of Turkey, organized by Economist Conferences, is taking place in Istanbul.
The 17th meeting has brought together representatives of the business world and the government at Istanbul's Hyatt Hotel.
State Minister Egemen Bagis, who is also the chief negotiator for European Union (EU) talks, is expected to participate in an afternoon session on "EU membership: progress and prospects."
