Pegasus, Turkish Private Airlines, Launches Flights to Belgian Capital |

Tuesday, 23 June 2009BRUSSELS - A Turkish private airline company launched flights to the Belgian capital on Monday.
Turkey's private airline company Pegasus launched scheduled flights from the Turkish city of Istanbul to the Belgian capital of Brussels.
The first flight from the Sabiha Gokcen International Airport in the Anatolian side of Istanbul landed at the Brussels Zaventem International Airport.
The Pegasus Airlines will fly between Istanbul and Brussels every day.
The airline company will also launch scheduled flights to the German capital of Berlin on July 1, company officials said.
The Pegasus Airlines carried 4.4 million passengers in 2008, and aims to raise the number of its passengers to 5.5 million by the end of 2009.
Established in 1990, Pegasus has become a leading charter airline in Turkey and operates charter flights from Turkey to 99 destinations in 17 countries. Pegasus Airlines also provides wet lease to airlines in need of extra capacity.
