Interior Ministry of Georgia states that Georgian border guards control Russian-Georgian border in the region of Mamisonsk passage.

The Interior Ministry stated that over the recent period, misinformation spread about the situation on the Russian-Georgian border in Onskom region.

The Interior Ministry strongly states that the Georgian Border Police units have complete control over this area of Georgian-Russian border, as well as the administrative border of the unrecognized South Ossetia.

The Interior Ministry calls upon all to refrain from disseminating unverified information and plantings of panic among the population.
