39 Oppositionists Detained In Tbilisi: Interior Ministry

Some 39 participants of action of the young opposition organizations were detained for breaking public order in Tbilisi, the Interior Ministry of Georgia reported.

The Deputy Interior Minister of Georgia Eka Zguladze stated at the special briefing that the trial is in process. The police asks administrative fines for the majority of them, and administrative punishment for other part, which envisages detention of maximum 30 days.

According Zguladze, about 100 young men at nearly 14:00 today blocked the street in front of Police Station.
