Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Nalbandov met with an independent Polish Senator, a candidate to Secretary General post in the Council of Europe Vlodzimej Chimoshevich.

Chimoshevich informed the Georgian side with his views in relation to different aspects of the Council of Europe and his secretary general.

The guest was informed about the political situation in Georgia.

An attention was paid to the situation in the occupied territories. The sides also discussed key issues of cooperation between Georgia and the Council of Europe and prospects for future relations.
