U.s. Denies Plans Placing Military Bases In Uzbekistan

The United States does not consider the issue on placing military basis in the Navoi airport in Uzbekistan, the U.S. Ambassador in Kazakhstan Richard Hougland said, Interfax reported.

The U.S. is considering alternatives to Manas on placement of military basis, but the issue on operating a military base in Uzbekistan is not considering.
