Portugal Shows Interest in Boosting Ties with Uzbekistan

The Uzbek ambassador to Portugal with residence in Paris, Bahromjon Aloyev, has presented his credentials to Portuguese President Anibal Silva, Jahon news agency reported quoting the Uzbek Foreign Ministry.

During the conversation, Silva praised the current state of and prospects for the development of Uzbek-Portuguese relations in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.

The Portuguese president expressed his country's interest in the further development of mutually beneficial and equal cooperation between Uzbekistan and Portugal in the interests of the two countries' peoples.
