Turkish Exports Down in May

Turkish exports dropped 39.97 percent to 7.3 billion USD in May, 2009 when compared to May, 2008.
Mehmet Buyukeksi, chairman of the Assembly of Turkish Exporters (TIM), stated on Monday that exports in the first five months of 2009 was 35.8 billion USD.
He added that exports between April 2008 and April 2009 decreased 9.95 percent to 108.4 billion USD.
