Turkish Energy Minister in Rome to Attend G-8 Meeting

Turkish Energy & Natural Resources Minister Taner Yildiz arrived in Rome, Italy on Monday to attend a meeting of energy ministers of G-8 countries.
Yildiz will deliver a speech at a session later in the day.
Besides G-8 countries, Australia, Brazil, Algeria, China, Indonesia, South Africa, India, South Korea, Libya, Mexico, Egypt, Nigeria, Rwanda and Saudi Arabia are represented at the meeting on the ministerial level.
Representatives of international energy companies will also be in attendance at the meeting.
The meeting of the energy ministers in Rome comes ahead of a G-8 summit, scheduled for July in Italy's L'Aquila city.
