Wednesday, 20 May 2009Director General of the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (IKSV), Gorgun Taner, who is also the Turkish side coordinator of the "Turkey Season in France" activities, said Wednesday that the activities in France will promote Turkey for nine months beginning on July 1.
In an exclusive interview with the AA, Taner said that such activities will contribute immensely to Turkey's EU membership process.
"The activities in France will play an important role in helping the French get to know Turkey better," Taner said.
More than 300 events will take place in 13 separate categories in 20 French cities as part of the "Turkey Season in France", Taner also said. |
