112,549 Pupils To Graduate From Azerbaijani Secondary Schools In 2008-2009

Azerbaijan, Baku, May 19 /Trend News, J. Babayeva/ As many as 112,549 pupils will graduate from Azerbaijani secondary schools in 2008-2009, the Education Ministry said.

This is 4,986 pupils less from previous year's figure. About 117,535 pupils graduated from Azerbaijani schools in 2008.

The Education Ministry estimated number of first-year pupils at 125,114 in 2009-2010. As many as 119,600 pupils were admitted to school in 2008-2009. 

About 20,092 students will complete bachelor's degree and 2,564 will complete master's degree in 2009.
