Monday, 18 May 2009Turkish Film Week began in the Chinese capital of Beijing on Monday.
The event took start with award-winning Turkish filmmaker Cagan Irmak's "Babam ve Oglum" (My Father and My Son) at the 1905 Movie Club.
The event will continue until May 29. Ten Turkish feature films will be screened with English and Chinese subtitles during the event.
Turkish films to be displayed are, Biket Ilhan's "Ayin Karanlik Yuzu" (Dark Side of the Moon), Cagan Irmak's "Babam ve Oglum" (My Father and My Son), Atif Yilmaz's "Egreti Gelin" (Borrowed Bride), Kutlug Ataman's "Iki Genc Kiz" (Two Girls), Ulas Ak's "Dun Gece Bir Ruya Gordum" (I Had a Dream Last Night), Zeki Okten's "Gule Gule" (Bye Bye), Nesli Colgecen's "Zugurt Aga" (The Agha), Sinan Cetin's "Komiser Shakespeare" (Sergeant Shakespeare), Reha Erdem's "Kac Para Kac" (A Run for Money) and Ali Ozgenturk's "Kalbin Zamani" (The Time of the Heart). |
