As a result of operational search measures taken by the employees of the Ministry of National Security of Azerbaijan, was neutralized a group of people illegally obtaining information from computers. Criminals used credit cards of the foreigners, receiving payment for air tickets ordered by e-mail and selling these tickets at lower prices. This group consists of citizens of Azerbaijan and several foreign countries.

It was found out that the group consists of citizens of Azerbaijan - Shamsaddin Abdurakhmanov, Vagif Mirzazade, Tair Amirguliev, Elyar Gojazade, Nazim Hasanov, Ahliman Mammadov, Murad Mahmudov, a citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Mutiu Olov, and others. Criminals unlawfully intruded on the official site of Azerbaijan Airlines JSC (www.azal.az) and used the credit cards of U.S. citizens and other countries. It was made clear that the members of the group carried out monetary operations with foreign credit cards, bought airline tickets through e-mail to sell these tickets at lower prices.

During the investigation, it was found out what the criminals have undermined the work of Azerbaijan Airlines and caused damage of 100,000 manat. A criminal case was filed over the fact in accordance with the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan.
