Girl Hit By Lightning In Kyrgyzstan

A 14-year-girl was struck by lightning in the village of Kablan-Kol, Kyrgyzstan on Thursday, May 14, Kyrgyz Emergency Minister Kamchybek Tashiev informed the news agency "24.kg".

The incident occurred approximately at 11:00 AM. The girl suffered serious burns and was taken to intensive care unit of the district hospital in Gulchi village.

Mudflows caused by set rain showers continue to batter the south part of the republic, Kamchybek Tashiev said.
