Georgia, Tbilisi, May 14 /Trend News, N.Kirtskhalia /
A telephone conversation took place between the Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili and U.S. Vice-President Joe Biden.

"Biden expressed firm commitment of the USA to the territorial integrity of Georgia, its independence and support to the legitimately elected government," the press service of the Administration of President of Georgia reported.

During the conversation, the sides discussed the issues of strategic cooperation between the United States and Georgia, as well as issues of regional cooperation.
