Speaker of the Iranian Parliament Ali Larijani has criticized the NATO's new program on Afghanistan, the Mehr agency reported.

"Iraq was occupied for five years and no action for recovery of the country had been taken, but building of new military bases was accelerated. NATO's new program on Afghanistan will also give its reverse result," Larijani said at a meeting with Speaker of Yemen. 

NATO' new program on Afghanistan includes the participation of the Taliban faction in political processes in the country and sending of more military forces to Afghanistan.

According to Larijani, enemies of Islam want to mislead the existing potential in the Muslim world."They leave aside important issues and attach importance to small and trifling matters. The main enemy is Israel," he said.
