Azerbaijan, Baku, May 6 /Trend News, V.Zhavoronkova/

Russia hopes the US administration will assist in eliminating differences developing between NATO and Moscow, Russian Permanent Representative to NATO Dmitriy Rogozin told Trend News in a telephone conversation from Brussels.

"I think the US president, as we at least expect, will interfere and deal with those who created this provocation," Rogozin said. "Finally, this is his organization, but not ours."

On May 6, Russia deprived two Canadian diplomats' accreditation in response to the expulsion of two Russian representatives to NATO from Belgium.

The Russian Foreign Ministry said in its official statement that this step was taken "in response to NATO's unfriendly act against the Russian representatives to NATO".

Last week, the alliance decided to expel two Russian representatives to NATO, whom the bloc accused of spying and deprived of accreditation. A 23-year-old son of the Permanent Representative of Russia to the EU Vasily Chizhov is amongst them.

Rogozin said at the ambassadorial meeting of NATO that the Alliance's Secretary General has not even informed the immediate neighborhood, ambassadors of the states who are accredited and working within NATO about Russian diplomats' expulsion.

"This is either complete disorganization and uncoordinated NATO mechanism, or it must be concluded that there was a conspiracy inside NATO which is not only directed against the Russian-NATO relations, but also perhaps against Barack Obama, because everything that happened - this is done to undermine his personal authority," Rogozin said.
