ANKARA - Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu met with Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Araz Azimov on Monday.

Azimov was Davutoglu's first guest after Davutoglu became Turkey's new Foreign Minister on Friday.

Diplomatic sources said that Azimov's being the first foreign official to visit Davutoglu was not a coincidence.

Davutoglu and Azimov discussed regional and bilateral issues and exchanged viewpoints on the energy summit to be held in Prague on May 8.
