On May 1, Head of Research Center for border security and migration - the former head of the Border Police of Georgia Badri Bitsadze informed EU Special Envoy to South Caucasus Peter Semneby about violations by the authorities.

"We are not connected with politics and serve only to establish order," Bitsadze noted.

"These are criminal facts and they must be followed by an appropriate response," Bitsadze said. He added there are some facts of political pressure and terror.

The meeting lasted about an hour. Semneby has not made any comments at the end of the meeting.
