Wednesday, 22 April 2009Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov received Iranian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Nasir Hamidi Zare because of expiring his office term, the foreign ministry told Trend News on April 21.
The meeting focused on exchange of opinions on development of the Azerbaijani-Iranian relations during Zare's activity as the Iranian Consul General to Nakhchivan and then as the ambassador to Baku.
The ambassador thanked the Azerbaijani government for support to his activity in the country. Mammadyarov, in turn, wished successes to the Iranian diplomat in his future activity. |
