Elections In Kyrgyzstan Less Likely To Be Fair: Unified Opposition Candidate

"This is opposition's decision and I must obey it," CA-NEWS quoted only candidate nominated by the opposition Popular Movement for the upcoming Kyrgyz presidential elections Almazbek Atambayev as saying.

"I proposed to nominate Tekebayev and Beshimov," he said at a press conference held in AKI press agency.

"The important is to preserve true balance of votes as few people believe that the elections will be held fair specifically after escape of Central Election Commission chairman," he said. 

He said he is sure people will be able to protect their votes this time.
