Turkish and Egyptian Admirals Meet in Turkey

The Turkish and Egyptian top admirals met in the Turkish capital of Ankara on Thursday.
Admiral Mohab Mameesh, the chief commander of Egyptian Naval Forces, paid a visit to Admiral Metin Atac, the commander of Turkish Naval Forces.
"There are many things we will discuss, as the naval forces commanders of two important East Mediterranean coastal countries," Atac said during the meeting.
Mameesh said that Turkish and Egyptian fleets were cooperating to maintain peace in their common seas, and Egypt aimed to further improve relations with the Turkish fleet.
