Monday, 13 April 2009A group of women parliamentarians from Azerbaijan will pay a visit to Turkey.
Senol Bal, an MP from Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), said the visit aims to boost economic, social, cultural and friendly relations.
Bal said Armenian problem was one of the agenda topics of the visit, indicating that the visit will have a positive impact on Turkey and Azerbaijan relations.
The delegation, including Lale Abbasova, Aynur Guliyeva, Ganire Pasayeva, Guler Ahmedova, Gultekin Hacıbeyli, Melahat Ibrahimkızı, Tenzile Rustemhanlı and an expert from the presidency will first visit Anitkabir, the Mausoleum of Ataturk--the Founder of Republic of Turkey, on April 15.
Turkish Parliament Speaker Koksal Toptan will host the delegation on Wednesday.
The guest parliamentarians are expected to meet Turkish President Abdullah Gul, Republican People's Party (CHP) chairman Deniz Baykal, MHP chairman Devlet Bahceli as well as state ministers Nimet Cubukcu and Sait Yazicioglu.
The women parliamentarians will give a news conference on April 16. |
