U.S. President Barack Obama is expected to visit the Turkish Parliament for about 1.5 hours where he will meet with Parliament Speaker Koksal Toptan and the leaders of political parties represented in the parliament, reported Worldbulletin.

Obama will later address the General Assembly of the Turkish Parliament.

President Obama will arrive in Turkey on April 5 and be at the Turkish Parliament on April 6.

Obama is expected to arrive at the Turkish Parliament at 14.30 hours and hold a tete-a-tete meeting with Koksal Toptan for about 15 minutes.

President Obama will hold talks with the chairman of the main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) Deniz Baykal, chairman of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Devlet Bahceli, and chairman of the Democratic Society Party (DTP) Ahmet Turk.

Turkish parliament speaker Koksal Toptan said that Obma would meet opposition leaders separately.

Obama would hold joint talks with Turkish opposition parties according to his schedul. But Turkey's MHP leader rejected to joint talks and was followed by main opposition party CHP. Only DTP leader announced to accept tlks anyways.

Obama will address the Turkish Parliament at 15.00 hours on April 6. His speech will be broadcast live on TRT's Parliament Channel.

Around 165 American and foreign journalists and 200 Turkish journalists will listen to Obama's speech at the parliament.

The Turkish Parliament will be closed to the public April 6.
