Moldovan Election Body Accredits 157 International Observers

The Central Election Commission (CEC) today accredited 157 international observers to monitor the 5 April parliamentary election, Moldpress reported.

The observers were put forward by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (19), OSCE Parliamentary Assembly (75), OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (62) and one observer on behalf of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

The CEC has accredited 2,225 national and 531 international observers so far.

The deadline of submitting accreditation documents expires today
