Uzbekistan, Tashkent, March 22 / Trend News corr. T. Zhukov / Sunday in all parts of the Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan there was held a solemn ceremony of taking oath of allegiance with recruits. 
According to the information provided to Trend News by the management of military conscription and reserve Defense corresponding ceremony was held today in parts of the National Security Service and the Committee for State Border Protection of Uzbekistan. 
The call to military service in the armed forces of Uzbekistan and the dismissal of the reserve for the first time be held once a year instead of two. In January this year, President Islam Karimov signed a decree on the next call of citizens into the armed forces of the republic and the dismissal of soldiers who have served the time of military service. 
In March and April in the reserve, in addition to young people who have served in the army the year on an exceptional basis will be laid off those who were called last fall. «A new system of recruitment designed to improve the conditions of military service in the armed forces, and mobilization readiness of troops in the country». 
Since 2001, Uzbekistan started to reform its armed forces. In the army, the troops of MIA, NSS and KSBP the contract system was introduced into military service. Since 2002, there was introduced a competitive system of recruitment of young conscripts to military service.
