Nazarbaev Addresses Astana Economic Forum

NA -- The second Astana Economic Forum has begun in the Kazakh capital, RFE/RL's Kazakh Service reports.

Economic experts from more than 40 countries are taking part in the forum, which focuses on economic security in Eurasia.

President Nursultan Nazarbaev said in his opening address that Kazakhstan has an anticrisis program for which the government has allocated $18 billion.

RFE/RL's correspondent in Astana reports that it was announced at the forum that recommendations will be made for the upcoming G20 summit of industrialized and developing states.
