Turkish police lead an operation against the terrorist group called Marxist Leninist Communist Party (MLKP) on 10th of March. The terrorist organization has claimed numerous attacks since its construction in September 1994.The organization consist of various terrorist organizations such as TDKIH, TKIH, TKP-ML which claim to have communist ideology.
Ankara Police Anti-Terrorism Department conducted operation to organizations bureau in Kizilay. According to the formal sources 8 member of the organization are taken under custody and the operation is not restricted to Ankara. The police is leading simultaneous operations in Ankara,Izmir and Istanbul.
On the other hand, the Atilim magazine owned and published by the terrorist organization claimed the number of people taken under custody as 30.
