Saturday, 7 March 2009Hillary Clinton will appear on a popular chat show, Haydi Gel Bizimle Ol (Let's Be with Us), beside the formal meetings with Turkish PM, Foreign Affairs Minister, and President in Ankara.
The program is a popular show, which four famous women host popular figures and discuss daily issues. The presenters, Cigdem Anad, Pinar Kur, Mujde Ar, and Aysun Kayaci have different backgrounds as anchorwoman, novelist, actress, and model respectively.
The program will be shown on 8 p.m. on 7 March although it appears on Thursdays. The audience will be able to ask questions to the US Secretary of State.
Analysts underline that Clinton draws attention to the modern and westernized aspect of the Turkish woman by appearing on Haydi Gel Bizimle Ol.
