and Mehmet Emin Karamehmet who was ranked first last year declined to rank 2.
Total wealth of the richest 100 Turks
decreased at a rate of 49.1 percent in compare to last year and the total amount
is 56 billion 165 million dollars. The wealth of the first 15 people on the list
is 20 billion 150 million dollars.
46 people's ranking was raised on the
list whereas 41's ranking was declined. Ferit Sahenk kept his ranking on 6th.
The number of new entrant to the list was only 12.
12 people from Sabanci Holding with 4
billion 710 million dollars in total, 6 people from Koc Holding with 2 billion
795 million dollars in total, 6 people from Dogan Holding with 1 billion 680
million dollars in total, 5 people from Enka Construction Company with 3 billion
275 million dollars in total, 3 people from Dogus Holding with 2 billion 700
million dollars in total, 2 people from Eczacibasi Holding with 1 billion 600
million dollars in total, and 3 people from Zorlu Holding with 2 billion 350
million dollars in total were included in the list.
