Monday, 23 February 200981st Academy Awards is going on in Los Angeles Kodak Theatre. The show started with a glamorous opening of Hugh Jackman. With his musical performance Jackman presented a shortcast of this years' nominees.
The first Oscar goes to Best Supporting Actress. Spanish actress Penelope Cruz got the award with her performance in "Vicky Cristina Barcelona". The other nominees of this category were Amy Adams, Viola Davis, Taraji P. Henson and Marisa Tomei.
The Best Original Screen Play Award goes to "Milk". Best Aniamted Picture Award goes to Wall-E. Countdown goes on at Kodak Theatre Los Angeles.
