Turkish Energy Miniser to Travel to Kyrgyzstan

Turkish Energy and Natural Resources Minister Hilmi Guler will travel to Kyrgyzstan in order to hold a series of talks with Kyrgyz officials.

Minister Guler will depart from Istanbul for Bishkek on Tuesday, a statement from the Energy and Natural Resources Ministry said on Monday.

Guler, who will travel to this country as the guest of his Kyrgyz counterpart Ilyas Davydov, will hold talks with Kyrgyzstan's President Kurmanbek Bakiev, Premier Igor Chudinov, Parliament Speaker Aytibay Tagaev and several cabinet members during his visit.

Guler is expected to return to Turkey on February 21.
