Nationalist Prof. Ozdag: The US is Behind the Ergenekon Operation

Prof. Dr. Umit Ozdag argues that the United States (US) is the real power behind the Ergenekon Operation in Turkey. Mr. Ozdag, who is known as ultra-nationalist, said "The US aims to establish a federal Turkey instead of unitary Turkish state".

Prof. Dr. Ozdag further claimed that the European Union (EU) too makes efforts to shift Turkey's unitary into an ethnic based federal Turkey state. Ozdag in the "32. Gun' TV program on 22 January 2009 night saw the Ergenekon Case as an operation orchestrated against Turkish Republic by the US and the EU.
