Blast Hits Official Building In Ingushetia; Deaths Reported

An explosion in the south Russian region of Ingushetia has blown up the office of court bailiffs in the main town of Nazran, killing a number of people, Russian news agencies are reporting.

Ingushetia is a mainly Muslim region next to Chechnya in the North Caucasus where Russian security forces have been fighting a growing rebel insurgency, violence which analysts say could undermine the regional stability.
