Monday, 12 January 2009Skopje, January 12 (MIA) - Defense Ministry delegation led by Minister Zoran Konjanovski will lay flowers Monday at the site of the helicopter crash, in which 11 Macedonian Army (ARM) peacekeepers, who returned from mission ALTHEA in Bosnia&Herzegovina, were killed on January 12 of last year, reads Ministry press release.
The ceremony at Katlanovo Blace will be attended by families of the late ARM members, delegations from the Government, President's Cabinet, Joint Operative Command, ARM's aviation sector, as well as Petrovec municipality.
Defense Ministry delegation led by Deputy-Minister Emil Dimitriev will also lay flowers at the commemmorative trait in army barracks "Straso Pindzur" in Petrovec.
Moreover, the anniversary will be observed Tuesday at the peacekeepers' monument in camp Butmir near Sarajevo, where they departed on their last flight, followed by a commemmorative session.
