Settlers shoot at village homes; Israeli troops overrun village and surround mosque |

Saturday, 10 January 2009Qalqiliya – Israeli soldiers invaded the village of Kfar Qaddum north east of Qalqiliya after a group of Israeli settlers entered the village and shot at several homes in the area.
Eyewitnesses said a massive number of Israeli soldiers overran the village and surrounded its mosque preventing residents from entering it.
Witnesses added that they heard soldiers talking about a settler who was inside the mosque in a bid to commit some sort of crime while inside. Soldiers then combed the area surrounding the mosque and then retreated from the area. |
