TURKISH FOREIGN MINISTER LEAVES FOR NEW YORK

Turkish Foreign Minister Ali Babacan left for New York, the United States late on Monday.

Babacan will attend a meeting which will take place in UN Security Council to discuss the recent situation in Gaza.

At least 500 Palestinians have been killed since the start of Israeli offensive on Gaza on Saturday.
