Jordan looks into nuclear power

Jordan's government is looking into building a nuclear power plant near Aqaba on its Red Sea coastline. It is expected to be built within eight years and more are planned. The planned site would be able to have four individual power plants, should they go ahead. A study will look into using nuclear energy in the country over the next 18 months.
