British daily The Guardian reports that Fulham did not find the Turkish businesmen's offer serious:
Mohamed Al Fayed invites investors to buy a stake in Fulham, despite of that he do not intend to lose his controlling interest.
Fayed's representatives, was reported, had a meeting with a group of Turkish-Cypriot businessmen in London. The Guardian says Fayed denies the meeting.
For the Guardian Fayed's advisers were left so unimpressed by the talks that Fayed referred privately to the Turkish businessmen as being nothing more than small salesmen.
